Problems of Practice Office Hours are a new event format to create more opportunities for GBEN members to connect with each other in a less structured format. We envision holding a space each month where a GBEN member suggests a topic or current problem that they’re dealing with, and folks who are experiencing a similar issue or are interested in the issue show up for a lightly facilitated discussion.
Our next office hours will be on Thursday, May 25th at 9 am. Kara Bixby will host the session and explore how to design and lead interviews focused on outcomes when the topics can be sensitive. Do you lead interviews to help determine whether a program, intervention or initiative has achieved its outcomes? Are the topics sometimes sensitive? Come and discuss ideas with a small group such as how to quickly build rapport, how to get participants to define success, and how to design your questions in an effective way.
