Have you conducted interviews and or focus groups and are unsure of what your next steps should be?  Have you ever worried about the validity of some (your?) qualitative findings? Carolyn (Carrie) Fisher will present an introduction to qualitative analysis that includes:

  • the considerations taken in making analytical decisions;
  • the role of the analyst in presenting the 'truth';
  • data management processes and tools and ;
  • the interpretation and reporting of data.

Carrie is a research evaluation scientist at the Institute for Community Health. She is an anthropologist with interests in applied and evaluation research, innovative research methods, health and public health, and research with difficult-to-reach populations and has extensive experience conducting qualitative research in a range of different settings and using a variety of techniques based on the needs and scope of the project.

We had Carrie present in 2018 and excited to have her come back and present!
